About

My name is Bianca Kozloski.  I founded Mindful Moments to continue working in my passion for education.  I taught second grade for five years in Denver Public Schools before I started tutoring.  I am a certified teacher with a Masters in Education from the University of Denver and completed the prestigious Denver Teacher Residency Program.  I am also certified as a special education generalist. At Regis University, I completed my undergraduate studies and played collegiate softball; receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree upon my graduation in 2011.

Since founding Mindful Moments, I received my certification in the Orton-Gillingham approach to reading.  Orton-Gillingham is a direct, explicit, multisensory, structured and sequential approach for teaching literacy.  It is commonly used for students who need some additional reading support, or who have received a diagnosis of dyslexia.

Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked with children as a nanny.  I have always had a passion for working with children, and I love watching them learn and try new things.

I believe every student has their own learning style, and in order to be successful, they need someone who will meet their specific needs.  I also believe all students are capable of achieving success and will rise to the occasion when held to high expectations.

My goal is to provide each student with an individualized, high-quality learning experience that improves attitude, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence inside and outside the classroom.
